Anti Wrinkle Treatment (requires consultation with our nurse prescriber)
Anti –Wrinkle injections are the most popular non-surgical treatments for treating lines and wrinkles. They can be used to treat all depths of wrinkles associated with underlying muscle movement in the upper part of face and some areas around the lips, chin and neck. Anti -wrinkle injections can be combined with other treatments such as Dermal fillers to treat the overall facial rejuvenation.

How do the muscle relaxing injections work?
The anti -wrinkle treatment blocks the nerve impulses from stimulating the muscle and as a result, the muscle relaxes. As the muscle stops contracting, the skin overlying the muscle relaxes and the skin softens and becomes very smooth. Post-treatment, the wrinkles relax along with the muscles while surrounding untreated facial muscles contract in a normal fashion. This allows normal facial expressions to remain unaffected. The benefits of Muscle Relaxing injections are visible within 5-12 days after the treatment and will last for 3-4 months, giving the face a smoother, more rested appearance. The effect usually persists for about 3-4 months before muscle activity is gradually resolved.

Dermal Fillers
Dermal fillers are used to plump fine lines and wrinkles and augment, define and beautify the lips and cheeks by restoring lost volume and definition. They even function to diminish scars and smooth the skin out with a stunningly natural result. The most commonly used fillers are cross -linked Hyaluronic acid based fillers and we at Jo Michelle Aesthetics use a wide range of varied products at our clients request from Juvederm to Restylane to other such as Revolax and Princess fillers. Hyaluronic acid is a complex sugar that is contained in the body and because it is a naturally occurring substance, it is safe, effective and therefore allergic reaction is minimal. As we age, the body depletes and naturally produces less and less Hyaluronic Acid. At Jo Michelle, Dermal Fillers are expertly injected under the skin to give lost or deficient volume to desired areas of the face. The dermal filler is typically re-absorbed into the body over -time and can be successfully injected into most places in the face. We currently offer a range of filler services including-

Microblading – From £130.00
Microblading is a semi- permanent tattooing technique in which a small, manual tool made of several tiny needles is used to add pigment to the skin. Microblading differs from standard eyebrow tattooing because each hair stroke is created by hand using a blade which creates fine slices in the skin, whereas eyebrow tattoos are done with a machine and single needle. The treatment is typically used on eyebrows to create, enhance or reshape their appearance in terms of both shape and colour which deposits pigment into the upper region of the dermis fading more rapidly than traditional tattooing techniques, which deposit pigment deeper. At Jo Michelle we use organic pigment only however, a consultation and patch test is required first to check your suitability for the treatment (this can be sent out by post on request).
